Shall Never Die
Serengeti Shall Never Die is a series created in Namiri Plains, Eastern Serengeti — one of the few places on Earth where the landscape still feels infinite. Open plains stretch uninterrupted, shaped by millennial kopjes that have anchored life in this area for generations.
The series includes lions, lionesses, cubs, leopards and cheetahs, all photographed within the same territory. Over several days, I returned to the same rocks, not to search for variation, but to wait for presence.
Sometimes the light disappeared, rain arrived, temperatures dropped.
And nothing happened.
Then the lions would stand, move, or simply look up — and the image was there.
This place has a way of staying with you. Every time I leave, it feels impossible that it could be the last time. And every time, I already know I will return.

The same predators, the same ground, the same rocks.
Waiting is part of the work.
